How accurate and sensitive is the A&D Weighing GP-32K Precision Scale in comparison with other 1000mg readability balances available?GP-32K Readability
With a readability of 1000mg, the GP-32K can handle most basic weighing tasks within your lab. The GP-32K is part of the A&D Weighing GP series best for applications including laboratory testing and chemical analysis.
How precise is the GP-32K Precision Scale compared to other 1000mg readability balances?GP-32K Repeatability
The GP-32K offers 500mg repeatability. Often presented as standard deviation and essential to persistently generating the same results when the same weight is put on the lab balance several times, repeatability is one factor that can confirm accuracy and validity.
What is the response time of the GP-32K Precision Scale in comparison with other 1000mg readability balances?GP-32K Stabilization Time
The time that the GP-32K balance takes to stabilize from the time you put your sample on it and displays results is 1.5 seconds.

What size of samples can I weigh on a GP-32K with a 1000mg readability range?GP-32K Pan Size
With a 384mm maximum diameter pan sizeWeighing Capacity
Offering a weighing capacity of 31,000g, the GP-32K is capable of working with fairly larger samples compared to other models.
Other notable features of the A&D Weighing GP-32K Precision ScaleDual Range Feature
With the Dual Ranges available for you to select on the GP-32K balance, you can go for either a readability of 1000mg or 100mg for the identical Precision Scale. The comparisons of this balance to others in its class above take into consideration the highest readability of the balance only, not the 2nd or 3rd lower readability specifications. You can view the specifications for each of the readabilities in the full specification table below. If you decide to change the readability mode of the balance, the following specifications change as well:
- Maximum weighing capacity shifts from 31,000g to 6,100g
- Repeatability shifts from 500mg to 100mg
The GP-32K is compliant to ISO, GLP, GMP regulations.

The GP internal calibration with an internal mass saves time and money. External calibration requires a great deal of skill, time and an expensive external mass. With our internal calibration with internal mass, the balance is calibrated very quickly. ■ Automatic Self Calibration — Self-calibrates automatically when the balance detects ambient temperature changes.
■ One Touch Automatic Calibration — Allows you to calibrate the balance on demand with just the push of a button.
■ Calibration is essential for accuracy in weighing. For example, in high-resolution balances, changes in sensitivity drift can be caused by changes in the ambient temperature. Take the GP-30K for example, the weight might change by 0.9g with a change of 10˚C ( Sample’s weight: 30kg ).
■ Thanks to our Double Leveraged Super Hybrid Sensor, the GP's motor-driven internal calibration mass is equivalent to a 50kg calibration mass in terms of top loading capacity on the weighing pan. The adjusted weighing accuracy is within +–15 digits in relation to the weighing capacity while conforming to the OIML's Class II balances definitions after using GP's internal calibration mass.
WinCT (Windows Communication Tools Software), provides easy transmission of weighing data from A&Dbalances to a computer using the RS-232C interface. Speed of data transfer into Windows applications in a manageable format is limited only by the computer’s capabilities.
Using a USB/ RS-232C Converter, you can transfer data between a USB-equipped PC and a GP balance. This also makes your GP balance hot-swappable meaning that there is no need to turn the balance and/or computer off before disconnecting the balance.
