  • Customer Reviews on Pioneer PA84C Analytical Balance from Ohaus

The PA84C is reasonably priced given its numerous features like the percent and density weighing which I find really useful for our lab. RS232 communication port is a purchasing factor for me too since you can easily connect the balance with a computer and printer. I like that it's quite compact and the LCD has a backlight so you can use it under poor lighting conditions. I just hope it won't be a problem if we started weighing heavier sample loads.

I use this mainly for parts counting and weighing of small components. It's accurate, durable, and not as pricey as other analytical balances. Response and stabilization time is quite fast too.
