Stuart SCF2 Centrifuges

Lab.Equipment carries versatile and straightforward microcentrifuges showcased in Stuart’s SCF2 Series. Ensuring safe centrifugation procedures, the Stuart SCF2 incorporates innovative BioCote antimicrobial protection that completely reduces the risk of infection and surface contamination. In addition, the SCF2 is integrated with a smart door lock to secure the door from opening throughout the procedure.

The Stuart SCF2 microcentrifuges are designed to perform at high speeds of up to 13,500rpm with either a fixed angle rotor or a strip tube rotor. The fixed angle rotor is capable of holding up to 12 x 1.5 or 2.2mL tubes while the strip tube rotor can hold four strips of 8 x 0.2mL tubes. Rotors are easily installed without needing additional tools!

Stuart incorporates upgraded features in each SCF2 microcentrifuge including an upgraded timer with spin speed display and pulse start function that enables rapid spin-down through accelerating the rotor to the preset rpm followed by prompt deceleration.
