Confirmed Sample Weighing Accuracy from Exceptional Sensitivity

Choosing the best-suited lab scale for muliple applications, even if for research centers, manufacturing facilities, or production houses, is key for yielding credible weighing measurement values. Picking a model that can guarantee high performance weighing and can accommodate your lab budget is a skill. If you are looking for a heavy-duty precision balance for laboratory or field that can be used for standard preparations, uncomplicated weighing, or for quality control purposes, then in that case the Explorer EX423/E Precision Scale from Ohaus is suitable for you. Built to distinguish mass variations thanks to its 1 mg readability, the Ohaus EX423/E balance not only delivers spot-on weighing values but also great value for your money. Another option with the same 1 mg readability that you can consider is the Explorer EX423N Precision Scale from Ohaus.

Sure-Fire Reproducibility for Credible Sample Mass Weighing

Ensure reproducible measurement values all throughout your weighing process to get valid results and save more time actually analyzing data than re-recording them with the Ohaus 30061980 scale. Thanks to its repeatability of 1 mg, this Ohaus Explorer model brings about high precision sample weighing perfect for daily applications even with multiple users considered. Substitutes with a higher repeatability value include the PS 6100.3Y Precision Balance from Radwag, an equally industry-recognized brand.

Versatile Weighing from Lab to Field

The Ohaus EX423/E allows you to work on 420 g of sample load at max with its spacious 130 mm weighing pan. Unequaled precision and accuracy for the smallest quantities of samples is ensured with the unit's external calibration feature that allows manual and trouble-free recalibration using approved test weights. This not only presents traceability but also a low-cost substitute compared to self-calibrating units, making it perfect for labs on a tighter budget. For activities that work on hefty substances, possible subs to pick include the Explorer EX10201N Precision Scale from Ohaus with a higher capacity than this Ohaus Explorer model. But, if you just need a different model but with the same capacity as this lab scale, you can get from the Explorer EX423N Precision Scale from Ohaus instead.

  • Customer Reviews on Explorer EX423/E Precision Scale from Ohaus

I used to get my balances from amazon because it's cheaper there, although the ones I see break easily. So I finally ordered an Ohaus one and it's definitely worth the additional cost. I weighed several items repeatedly to test repeatability and the accuracy is excellent. The structure seems very stable and sturdy so I'm expecting to get a good number of years from this.

The unit was shipped and delivered quickly. The pan size is enough to fit a standard beaker and accuracy is outstanding even when using different units of measurement. Ohaus is right up there with Mettler Toledo.
